Christmas I guess

Now I know what you are wondering. No broken lightbulbs, sorry.

Buttt it was a fairly uneventful week so I have plenty to write about.
- I have rediscovered my two favorite things, besides Jesus of course. Frozen fruit and blenders. These are my new quesadillas. Breakfast lunch and dinner cada dia.
- had exchanges and that was interesting because it was with the other greenie in our district, for lack of better words we butchered it. Just kidding it was so fun and believe it or not I learned a thing or two (or maybe things not to do)
- we got transfer news and I am staying, and my dad is leaving but my step dad is the elder who gave me the cleanest fade!! too lit
- for christmas eve we had guatemalan tamales. and no they were not the same as mexican tamales and that is all I have to say
- it was lowkey sad to kind of see for the first time how many people celebrate "mas", get it because they dont even talk about Christ! How is that possible, He is the reason for the season, how can you forget the One who died for you.
- I kind of just realized I havent talked about our friends!! Well that is because we have like 0 but that is ok because someday we will find someone who is ready. This last week has been really slow but we do have this man, Walter, who speaks English (literally a miracle) who is so smart and wants to know the truth. but he is a tough piece of toast that doesnt want any butter or cinnamon so we are working on that.
- the only other kind of friend is sergio and this man is working day and night but still manages to find time to talk with us, most of the time, grateful for that. We just need to help him see that Christ should be his priority!
- lastly we went caroling and no it was not a solo on my part, I am so thankful for the sisters in our district because the carried and they are so energetic, clutching up the singing and everything else for realz.

Thats kind of finna it, sorry yall. I know you were expecting something spectacular.

Love you guys, well most of you

Guess who gave a special musical number?

Okkkk, so recap on that dart zone gun... I shattered a light bulb with it. Funny not funny because I had to clean it up.

Also another not funny joke. If you know me, you know that I love music but I can not sing. Well this last Sunday our branch Presidency wanted us, four elders to sing a song (The First Noel) in spanish. It was hands down the worst singing I have ever heard or been apart of. Arguably the worst muscial number since The Creation. Yes it was that bad.

- our services have been crazy busy with receiving gifts for Christmas
- had chipotle for the first time since being set apart and it was so good, up there next to the air that I breathe everyday
- I also got a fat bloody nose at one of our services but for those of you with the weaker stomachs I have not attached the pictures
- we bagged hot dogs, that is a first because normally I just eat them
- we had a sick photoshoot on saturday so I will bless yall with some of those
- went by cherry street with the most complicated and expensive christmas set ups I have ever seen (and I dont mean to out my family but I am pretty sure it was more expensive than all our cars put together)
- and lastly I got a fresh cut ft. Elder Berber and he didnt shave my head so that was really nice if him

I have totally taken my studies for granted, they are so important to having a productive day so I would encourage yall to just study one or two verses from the Book of Mormon a day. And actually study them because if I know most of you, you will not. Just know that I will know if you dont and I will take all your presents away.

Remember I am watching you

Dart Zone

Good morning or afternoon or evening

Just curious if any of yall have heard of dart zone becasue their nerf funs are legit. And they hurt, to those of you that are wondering.

- I made lasagna, and I used my moms recipe, let me tell you that it is not the same
- We had the other elders from our district come over to do laundry and we had a dance party in the bathroom (to "I am a Child of God" of course)
- Had exhanges with the Elder Berber but it did not really count because neither of us can drive so we stayed in the church building all day
- Our branch christmas party was so fun and I got a bouncy ball chucked at my head. YAY
- I had my first snow since arriving and yes snow is still overrated
- District pday was today and yall will never guess what we did... Ok i cant handle the suspense, we talked for like 3 hours! but it was actually fire because everyone can pick on me

Thats it peeps! Stay strong and study the Book of Mormon. It is cliche I know but that book is so amazing and it changes my life everytime I read it.

Stay safe

Love yall

Thanksgiving and Baptisms

Its been a minute... Hope everyone on this list is still alive. :)

- We had a classic American thanksgiving dinner with a Venezuelan family
- They also spilled hot wax on me, we love that
- We baptized a family on the 26th, Ubencio, Andreina y Alejandra
- The scenery out here is beautiful
- If you haven't already go check out my amazing reel on Facebook!
- Had the chance to go to the Boston temple last Wednesday with two other elders in our district
- I found a nerf gun and I think I got addicted to them sooo I might be coming back with an arsenal of non lethal weapons
- I think I have quesadillas like 8x a week
- Zone Pday today was a riot, and I have never felt more sore in my life. Consisted of spikeball, volleyball, chair soccer and soccer

So the family that we baptized is amazing! I had the chance to baptize the daughter, Alejandra. Also Ubencio y Andreina got married in the chapel right before the baptism so that was pretty sick. ALSO Andreina is pregnant and expecting her child this week! Overall, truly an amazing family who speaks spanish that I can not really understand but they are incredible role models and love everyone.

Love ya'll, stay strong and put our Savior in the center of your lives!
