The Muffin

Hola a todos

We went on exchanges this Saturday pasado. I stayed in my area and E.Ridenour came to me, which was super cool because my very first exchange was with him. I had two boxes of muffin mix (thanks padres) and I was waiting for muffin tins. However my wonderful friend convinced me to put both boxes in a brownie pan. Hence "The Muffin".

Eventos
- Fun fact as a missionary in the MBM (as a language missionary) it is against the rules to speak English, so that's been super humbling for me.
- We had a very large roofing nail in our tire so we took it to Firestone and they replaced all of the tires?! Good times.
- Juan y Julieth passed their baptismal interview!
- DC was pretty lit, had a not so lit training on weekly planning :)
- District Yoga Night, I am not flexible and almost died several times.
- I gave a talk on Sunday and it wasn't absolutely terrible

This week was not super busy. We have been dropping more friends so we need to be more diligent with our finding time. However the friends we do still have are pretty solid friends and I am excited to see their progress. Our friend Junior is doing really good, he has such a strong desire and he knows what he needs to do to prepare AND he does it. God is good. Por fin Juan y Julieth GOT BAPTIZED. Such a cool spiritual moment and pretty much the whole branch pulled up.

Listening to trap on the bus

 Hola a todos

So this Easter we rode the bus to church and there was a young man bopping trap music on his speaker. Great spiritually uplifting, faith building music. Not.

This week went by quite fast and here are a couple of the memories:
- The district went to Chinatown in Downtown Boston and I got some pastries that were mega delicious.
- I had went around a Rotary 4x. For fun of course.
- We met a super cool dude from East Africa and another man from Albania! Also a guy from Bangladesh.
- E.Ifopō and I have been playing pool a lot and we starting keeping track. It is 6-6 right now.
- We had the not so wonderful opportunity to sing a special musical number in sacrament meeting yesterday. However I am glad to report that it was a little bit better than the Christmas Catastrophe.
- We went on exchanges with the ZL's. Twas a lit time, shoutout to E.Lewis & E.Hancock. Great ZL's. Good role models.
- Zone Pday today and we played some vball on the most sketch nets I have ever used. Representing the Stockett clan during the games. 💪
- I've started working on my handstands again. My goal is to be able to do a handstand pushup by the end of the mission.

This week was a grind. We had a great lesson with Hermana Allen and he husband came in later. We talked about work, he isn't a member and isn't that interested. So we are just trying to provide the best environment for the Spirit to work. We also have 8 people on date! Now the work really begins. Julieth and Juan are progressing really well. They just got married this Friday!

I learned that regardless of how uncomfortable you are the Spirit will help if you are ready and willing! I also learned that E.Ifopō gets scared easily. 🤫
