Assaulted with a Thermos

 Hola a todos!

I was a witness to an attempted assault in a Dunkin Donuts. My man threw a thermos at a worker. We got free donuts on the house.

This week: 

- E.Crow had maltomeal for the first time 

- We walked down 22 flights of stairs for fun  

- Service was legit, one was Gather55 and the other was some soup kitchen. Cool peeps  

- Thrift store and bowling today with the District 

- We had 7 lessons on Tuesday  

Abel is progressing well. We started teaching about 10 people and dropped 7 of them already.  It's sad but when people aren't ready there is nothing we can do. We just need to wait. District Council was given on helping friends keep commitments. We are going to try and extend a baptismal date for our friend Jefferson. We had 2 friends at church and 5 of our new members!

Hartford Homes

 It's 8:30 am right now so I will say BUENOS DIAS aun que no se cuando mi papa va a enviar este email [parent note: The same day!!!].

The sisters we branch share with are legit and my first weekend here was freaking busy. Baptism on Saturday afternoon for our friend Malu, then a branch activity that night with at least 100 people. Then at church we had 6 friends. 

This week:

- Exchanges with E.Ballingham, saw a lot of miracles that day.  

- Said goodbye to the De la Cruz and Tejeda familias  

- Last service was a bit sad too.  

- E.Bingham and I ate 12 cupcakes sin manos and then tried to dry scoop some protein. That was nasty. 

- I got stuck in a child's swing.  

My new comp is legit, his name is Elder Crow. Yes like the bird. 

- A Peruvian dance was performed, an ecuadorian sang/shouted and Nicaragua danced as well.  

- We ate dog treats, swallowed a raw egg, did the cinnamon challenge and had brownies. 

- Gave a District Council training on asking questions and listening.  

I don't know enough about our friends to give you an update so... next week!

Time is so conflicting. As humans we only have so much of it. Enjoy it. In a way that is responsible

Bye Bye Lynn

 Mi gente

We got transfer news and I will be heading to the opposite side of the mission to Hartford, CT after 4.5 months in Lynn.

This week:

- We found a lit zip-line and impressed the kids on the playground.  

- We cut sweet potatoes at service for 3 hours and I got a blister on my finger. 

- Scared the hermanas really bad s/o to Hna Francis and Mabey  

- We got pupusa from a friend and it was so good. Then we tried papaya and e.bingham and I could not force that down our throats 

- I found oatmeal with dinosaurs and it makes me so happy  

We have been blocked by a lot of our friends this week. Which is sad, we were not spamming them and almost all of them showed great potential. None of our friends pulled up to church but we know that the Lord is working with people we just need to have the faith to find. We had to drop Benjamin because he wasn't responding but he just responded and said he was interested so we will see. Kennet slept through church lol because he works graveyard shift.

To obey is better than to sacrifice.
