#2 You are better than you think you are.

 Mi gente

We received transfer news and I will be headed southeast to Waterford. It is approximately an hour drive. The Elder taking my spot is my first child, E.Bingham. I am so so proud of all of my kids but especially E.Bingham. I'm very excited to see all the miracles that will come into this area because of his diligence.

Hartford has been my favorite area up to this point. It will be hard to top. 

Esta semana:

● We got over 12 inches of snow on Tuesday.  

● Valentine's day was hype, we got a dog dropped off from a secret admirer.   To my best recollection I've never actually had a valentine so I'm hyped for next year. 

● We helped in English Class, kind of. 

● Logan got the Melchizedek Priesthood!️ 

● My amazing aunt got married!  

● Branch Conference was yesterday, I didn't get a lot out of it. I was pretty distracted, but it was good distracted. 

● During interviews with President, we counseled about my desserts goal and I am changing it to 3 a week. ;)

Well, this week we found two people prepared for us! We had two people at church too! None of our friends that were at church last week, came this week.  We are starting to meet with Cristopher daily again! We had four lessons back to back and it felt so good to have them actually go through!

Esta semana [this week]: 

○ I gave my desk to my child and now I study at the kitchen bar 

○ Balloon animals were created by yours truly for Kenneth's birthday party, he completed a whopping 3285 days on this planet  

○ I made pancakes every day this week  

○ District Council training was given by the Hermanas on teaching with the Spirit  

○ We feasted at Bears  

○ Enseñamos la clase de inglés sobre injuries  [We taught English class about injuries] 

○ Intercambios [exchanges... he swapped companions for a day] with E.Mikesell y E.Rasmussen, we threw a Frisbee with old dads in the park 

○ I bought a new balloon pump  that already broke  

Wow. These past seven days have given me many opportunities to pray, be humbled, repent and pray again. I got to sacrifice several things that I love dearly. One of those things being sweets and desserts. Those of you who know me or my father know that this will be especially hard.  We found 5/2 people. Hit a record breaking seven friends at church this Sunday!! (Even though a few of them were given to us by the Hermanas [Sister Missionaries]) I know that it was the Lord's way of telling me that I am choosing the right path, however hard and difficult it is. Kenneth is progressing terrificly well and several of our new friends are super prepared! This next week is going to be super fantástico. I learned a lot about sacrifice and consecration in my studies.

   I promise your personal anguish will be relieved and your obedience and faithfulness to patiently submit your will to God will be rewarded in “the own due time of the Lord.” “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”

   Sacrifice is a demonstration of pure love. The degree of our love for the Lord, for the gospel, and for our fellowman can be measured by what we are willing to sacrifice for them.

   “I [am] persuaded of one great truth: Whenever the Lord has a great blessing for one of his children, he puts that son or daughter in the way to make a great sacrifice.”

   No sacrifice is too great to have the blessings of an eternal marriage.

If you do not know what these celestial biscuits taste like I recommend you look them up. My mouth has never been so blessed in all of its food journeys. 

Esta semana: 

¤ I wanted to give a shoutout to my oldest child, Elder Bingham is a legend and I am so proud of him. Te quiero mijo 

¤ Service at Gather55 was exciting, there were a lot of verbal insults thrown around at the end of the shift. 

¤ Service at Cornerstone is always beneficial, and the Hermanas got us candy! 

¤ The training at District Council was given on power and authority and a sweet member made us all lunch.  

¤ I made lots of balloon swords at FHE for the kids to fight aun que ellos nos pelearon.  

¤ Exchange with E.Beck was so good, long counsel session that I needed tremendously. 

¤ I had the privilege of conducting my first two Baptismal interviews with Sylvia and her daughter Ashley. Listening to their testimonies was such an edifying moment.  

¤ I also conducted my first Baptismal service. 

As a companionship we once again fell short of our finding goal but we did reach our goal of new members at sacrament Meeting! 6/6 Kenneth is continuing to progress pretty well and he will probably be prepared to be baptized in the middle of Marzo. We have been trying to work closer with several of our recent Converts with nightly calls and it has been working better! Sandra and Carlos are also pretty legit! Sandra wants to learn more before being baptized and Carlos currently can't attend church because his son is in the hospital.
