Holaaa mi gente [Hello my people], 

Bringing life where once was pain. Grant me these that I may be, more dear Savior, more like thee. 

Esta semana [This week]: 

◇ E.De la Cruz was sick most of this week 🤢 so that made work a little bit more difficult

◇ Saw a highschool fight ⚔️ 

◇ We participated in exchanges in Cromwell, drove through Hartford, that was very nostalgic. Still my favorite area 🥹 

◇ We set some insanely high goals during weekly planning, pray for us plz 🙏 

◇ Thrifting, TopGolf and Smash burger today. S/o to the legends Ɛ & S.Lortz 🐐 I suck at golf 

◇ A man told us the pyramids were cut by aliens. 👽 

We put three friends on baptismal date for the 16th of June, Angel, Rakel y Diogenes. Pray for them. This week is going to be so fun. Growing my faith exponentially no doubt. I'm excited for MLC with Pres. Brough and some amazing leaders.

Goodbyes are still hard

Saying goodbye to friends and members is not any easier than the first time I did it. Especially when one of the recent converts starts to cry. 

Esta semana [This week]:

♡ Last pday [preparation day] in New London was at the beach. Destroyed some kids in spikeball.  

♡ Service at the farm was great, I got to swing a sledgehammer for the first time since working 

♡ A member gave us 20$ while we were finding in the rain!  

♡ Haglund and Hall families are amazing  

♡ Papi Beck is dying soon [another missionary, Elder Beck, is going to finish his mission and return home]

♡ Mi nuevo compañero es mexicano [My new companion is Mexican] and loves to eat out  

♡ Mother's day party  

♡ For pday today we toured the state capital, thrifted, pickleball and spikeball 

♡ I almost thrifted a Johns Hopkins polo today.  te quiero mijo [I love you, my son]  

Well I have no idea who any of our friends are so you get a short email this week.  [Because Caden was just transferred to a new area.]

Esta semana [This week]:

♤ Exchangez with the Zone Leaders, I went to Rhode Island for the first time. E.Christensen is a legend and the amount of information he can store in his brain is not natural. 

♤ We got a new whip.  

♤ Exchanges again with E.Miller. He funny. We broke the golf club. Lo siento compa mio.  [I'm sorry, my companion.] 

♤ I'm going to be a ZL [Zone Leader; they typically oversee and help train ~20 missionaries] in Providence.  

♤ I dunked for some kids on the street.  

♤ We taught the Elders Quorum lesson yesterday on "Gods intent is to bring you home" by Elder Kearon.  

We found 10/9 new people this week! The Lord will provide. However, the rest of our key indicators were down. We had only one friend, Devon, at church. One recent convert, Julio, came at church. Dina was working. On a more positive note, I know I did everything I could to get those people to church! The change in Julio has been amazing to see, he participates so readily in second hour. We got back into contact with Tina; it was a miracle stop by. We saw her boyfriend outside and he told us to go up and see her. She broke her ankle and still wants to be baptized! Victor is being really flaky so we are going to let God prepare him for now [aka: focus on other people for the moment].

One night we were doing some stop bys and I was so ready to go home. E.Goldsberry wanted to hit up one more and when we did he totally answered. And was super interested. I'm so glad my companion listened to the Spirit.

On the Wall

In our service at the Food bank we got our picture on the wall, so basically we are celebrities and now everyone knows I can make balloon animales.  

Esta semana [This week]:

■ We compost sifted at service.  

■ I beat E.Goldsberry @ pickleball once...  

■ DC training was focused on finding and teaching with the Spirit  

■ Exchanges with E.Brizzee were a lot of fun  

■ Ate at Chili's  

■ Cleared brush as service for an older man in the ward, i loved it  

■ Zone Pday consisted of spikeball, volleyball and chair soccer  

Finding proved difficult this week, 4/8. But the Lord brought 6 people to church!! The bishopric was released on Sunday and I had to translate some of the testimonies, as well as teach the Sunday School class in Spanish with 0 notice. The Spirit is my best friend. I know I could do nothing without him. We are going to meet more consistently with Victor again, we had to clear up a miscommunication. Dina didn't come to church because she was working, but Julio did! He shared so much during Sunday School and I was so proud. 

Pushing the rock is hard. It is supposed to be hard. I love being a missionary. So many experiences that have changed me forever.
