If you don't know it, shame on you.
Qué tal?
- We had a district pictionary night and I was so good at it. I drew guardians of ga'hoole and nobody in my district knew what it was... rip.
- During one of our grocery runs we played Bop-it in the toy section.
- Made my father proud, we bought a 5lb jar of peanut butter.
- We went to Jamaica Plain and thrift shop a little bit. I found this pretty cool vest... (see attached)
- We got our car towed. So we got a few less groceries today :), because if you didn't know, it is dang expensive.
- Final district council of the transfer... which means we got transfer news! I am staying in Boston with E.Ifopō, but we are switching to an all Spanish district, so we can talk more in Spanish. Yay.
- We had another district activity but this time it was charades and it was so funny. My favorite was when E.Ipofō and I acted out the story of Akish. If you don't know what that is and want to, send me an email.
- We went on exchanges with the HC Elders again, this time E.Lindsay came with me!
- Lastly, one of the HC Elders, E.Ridenour loves editing photos, so now he kind of has me addicted to it, every second I have, I am messing with pictures. Kind of a cool hobby, hopefully I can't keep that habit going!
I just finished the Book of Mormon again. I marked the Doctrine of Christ and now I am going back through and marking mentions of Christ/God and marking when Christ speaks.
I don't think we are teaching any of the same friends from 2 weeks ago lol. Kind of how the work goes sometimes. Sadly our most progressing friend, Junior, blocked us last week. But God is good and we found a ton of new people to teach! Last week we found 22 new people, which is a lot. We started teaching this family with 10 kids so that is an absolute riot. We are teaching Yovanny too, who is on date for June and is progressing very steadily. She understands a lot of the doctrine we teach which in itself is a miracle. We knocked on a door of this man blasting music and when he answered we talk the first part of the Restoration and now we are teaching him! Pretty cool cause I did not think he would hear me.
Something I learned this week is that if we make an effort everyday to share the gospel that God will bless us. Although be warned - it will not always (or ever) be the way you want/expect.
Sorry this one was long.
Hasta la próxima
