Byes are Tuff but We are Tuffer

Hola peeps

This last week I said goodbye to Elder Bouton. He moved out to Providence, RI to be a Zone Leader. I also got to say hi to my new companion! Elder Bingham is a beast. Also he is brand-new so that means I'm training. :)

This week:
- On Tuesday for the first time since being set apart as a missionary I got to help a friend do a project in his backyard. Construction is da best.👷‍♂️
- Had exchanges with E.Christensen, twas fun. Lots of rejection and lots of character building. ❤️
- We had the opportunity to give a blessing of healing to a baby in the branch. 👼
- I drove through a flooded street. 💧

BIG NEWS! Our friend, Kennet got baptized yesterday! He has been progressing quickly and watching hik take that first step on the covenant path with our Heavenly Father was an experience that I will be grateful for forever.

In terms of other friends... we don't have any. Training is kind of stressful but not too bad. I know that as long as I'm trying my best and being obedient it will all be ok.

Quick thought before I finish this, at district council on Saturday E.Christensen brought up a quote he saw. I don't remember what the quote said but he told us that he was reading the comments and one of them said something like this,"Why does the Gospel always have to have strings attached?" E.Christensen then told us that I think all of us would want those strings attached when we are climbing the mountain (going through life). But sometimes life doesn't feel like climbing, it feels more like jumping off a bridge. But when we bungee jump off a bridge we still want those ropes. Just some food for thought. 😁

Love y'all
