Will you accept my kiss?

 Hola a todos,

While we were greeting people at church, one of the members asked the hermanas (sister missionaries) if they would accept a kiss from him. It was mega awkward. Like super weird. Thankfully he proceeded to pull out a chocolate kiss from his jacket. Crisis avoided. ✅️

This week:
- I made tortilla soup and it actually tasted good. 🍲
- Zone Conference was also this week where we focused on going back to the Basics (church, prayer, scriptures). Attribute focus for these next 5 weeks is obedience. Lots of time to grow :))
- We helped prepare the branch for La Cena Internacional. 🥳  There were probably about 80ish people.
- We also had some excellent photo shoots. 📸

We were outside a lot this week. Talking to a lot of people and knocking a lot of doors. This was the first week, in a long time, that we reached our goal of 8/8 people found. Many of those people were miracles and I am grateful for all of them. I am also grateful for the people who said no because that has helped me to become more humble and patience. No new updates on friends. Kennet is continuing to progress in the Gospel.

This week I have been focusing a lot on patience. Thinking before I speak and being quick to listen. We memorized Romans 1:16 and when I am feeling impatient and frustrated I recite the scripture. A good friend talked about gratitude and how there are many negative things in our life. However, if we are patient and grateful we will live more blissfully.  And we can help others live more blissfully as well. As the Savior would.

Les amo,
Elder Stockett
