Nieve nieve nieve

 Hola a todos [Hello to everyone],

In the last 48 hours we got over 5 inches of snow... needless to say I am happy that I grew up in California.

Esta semana [This week]: 

♧ We received transfer news last night, E.Crow is going to Pawtucket which means I will be DL [District Leader, he will lead a group of 6-10 other missionaries] and be double training [training two new missionaries at the same time].  

♧ I gave away my first balloon animal to a kid at service and he even said it looked like a real dog.  

♧ E.Smith's birthday was on Thursday so we went to Buffalo Wild Wings to celebrate. We bought 60 wings.  

♧ It was also Spencer's [Caden's littlle brother] birthday on Friday! He is a deacon now. 

♧ We taught our English Class some slang. Such as: y'all, chill, sketchy, etc.  

♧ We had a 1v1v1v1v1v1 wrestling match in the dark with the ZL's [Zone Leaders, they lead several districts].

♧ Temple trip with the branch on Saturday! I baptized over 10 people, it was a special experience for sure.  

♧ I finished all three seasons of The Chosen again.  

♧ Finally got a physical copy of the new PMG [Preach My Gospel, the main "handbook" for missionaries]!  

This week we met our finding goal! 8/8 new people found. We also had several member lessons which is always really good. And... Cristopher got baptized yesterday!! I'm so happy for him. He bore his testimony after and said,"yo voy a representar esta iglesia hasta el día que muera." ["I am going to represent this church until the day that I die."]  So proud of that man.  One step closer to being a missionary. None of our other friends are progressing, we are going to try and focus on inactive members this week. We have 24 new converts from the past 12 months... less than half are active.  We know the Lord will provide, he just needs us to work.
