Goodbyes are still hard

 Saludos

Saying goodbye to friends and members is not any easier than the first time I did it. Especially when one of the recent converts starts to cry. πŸ˜’

Esta semana [This week]:
♡ Last pday [preparation day] in New London was at the beach. Destroyed some kids in spikeball. πŸ”₯
♡ Service at the farm was great, I got to swing a sledgehammer for the first time since working πŸ«
♡ A member gave us 20$ while we were finding in the rain! πŸ€‘
♡ Haglund and Hall families are amazing πŸ‘
♡ Papi Beck is dying soonπŸͺ¦ [another missionary, Elder Beck, is going to finish his mission and return home]
♡ Mi nuevo compaΓ±ero es mexicano [My new companion is Mexican] and loves to eat out πŸ‡²πŸ‡½
♡ Mother's day party πŸ₯³
♡ For pday today we toured the state capital, thrifted, pickleball and spikeball πŸ›
♡ I almost thrifted a Johns Hopkins polo today. πŸ‘• te quiero mijo [I love you, my son] ❤️

Well I have no idea who any of our friends are so you get a short email this week.  [Because Caden was just transferred to a new area.]

Love y'all
Elder Stockett

Our willingness to sacrifice things now, demonstrates how ready we are to live in the presence of our Heavenly Father.

"Let us follow the example of the One who saves us. The Savior won “our souls with love.” Jesus Christ is our Master. His work is our work. It is a saving work," [Deiter F Uchtdorf]
