Pity is not an option

 Hola,

The end if this week was fairly difficult. I was having some stomach pains so I was lying in bed, with a lot of thinking time. I have come to this personal conclusion: God does not give us challenges so that we can lay in bed and feel sorry for ourselves. That thought got me up and working to the best of my ability. Just some food for thought. 🧠 health issues

Esta semana... well the little bit after last pday:
- I plastic wrapped myself at service. ☠️
- At District Council we gave a training on charity. 📝
- We met a man named Cal, who has some serious mental health problems, he was talking about so many things like South Park, the government, Korea, etc. 🏛
- Fat thunderstorm on Thursday evening, the lightning was bright bright purple. 🌩
- Juan, one of our recent converts got ordained to the office of a priest in the Aaronic Priesthood. 👨‍🎓
- We talked to a man from Haiti and he seemed fairly interested... then we learned that he was being taught already. 🇭🇹
- We played spikeball and basketball at the chapel today, with a few other elders. 🏀

We started teaching quite a few people this week! A family of 4 and the only name I can remember is Juan, because there were two of them. Had a member dinner with Hna Allen and taught her neighbors about temples.

I was studying Moroni's preparations against the Lamanites. It outlined more clearly for me the concept of preparing regardless of previous battles. And this applies for us in life, Satan will never stop attacking so we need to be prepared often.
