Hola
On Wednesday, near our apartment, we saw a man riding an electric scooter. With a Propane tank strapped to the scooter, like it was normal. That is NOT normal.
Esta semana:
- We had 7 lessons in one day, I think that's a record for me so far.
- A lady was speeding and swerving through oncoming traffic and came within an inch or two of hitting our car.
- No joke we probably see at least 3 people ODed everyday.

- A phrase a lot of people use is, "I'm all set." Kelly said something funny that his wife tells everyone. There is no such thing as all set, when you are all set, you are dead. Next time someone tells us that they are all set...
️
️ - I walked face first into a concrete pole. And I was not walking slowly.

- We talked to a man on the street and one of them said,"I already have the cross thingy."
- We received a message that said,"Pork es el creador de todos nosotros."
- We street contacted a woman who said she teaches about Brigham Young and Joseph Smith, sadly she wasn't interested in learning about Jesus.

- We went to the Boston Temple for E.IfopΕ's birthday.
Last week was humbling and so was this week. We finally met with our branch president, who is 30 minutes outside of our zone. It was a much needed lesson where we talked about how we, as missionaries, can better help the branch. We had several member lessons and one with our new convert Luis! We started teaching a woman named Miluska, her husband has been a member since birth, and she has definitely been prepared by the Lord. Sadly we passed her off because she doesn't live in our area. But God has great things in store for her! We had two lessons with Brahain, both of which he opened up and explained his doubts. He promised us he would pull up to church and see for himself. Guess what? He didn't pull up. We had an amazing street contact for half-an-hour, comparing the Bible and the Book of Mormon (not bashing), with Janet. She was super interested so we will be going back this week!
I read a lot of talks and have a lot of thoughts but I will only give you one for now.
First, the quote from Holland, last week, was from a BYU discourse named "The Will of the Father".
OK, now my thought. "...the real test of our faith and our Christian discipleship is when things are not going smoothly. That is when we get to see what we're made of and how strong our commitment to the gospel really is." (Elder Holland @ BYU - Lessons from Liberty Jail)
It simply comes down to our love for Our Savior. Do we love him? Do we love him ENOUGH to stay true throughout our trials? Such a powerful but simple concept. So even when times get tough, which by the way, they will. Stay true to yourself, your family and Jesus Christ.
Love y'all
