Hola mi gente
The title this week is from when I tried to talk to a Latina in English and she was just like "no English papi". Pretty funny and I didn't have time to correct myself and use Spanish. Next time for sure.
This week:
- I made meatloaf for the first time at service. I realized that I will never eat meatloaf.
- Finding was pretty brutal for me this week, nobody wanted to talk but that's OK because I still enjoy this learning curve.
- I got to go on Exchanges with my MTC comp, Elder Carlson.
- I ran into my Yugoslavian friend again... he destroyed me again.
- Walked around Salem with the ZL's for pday and then played Spikeball and Volleyball after.
This week was hard but still super fun. Lots and lots of "no"s but I'm still smiling somehow. We found over 20 new people to teach this week! And dropped almost all of them jaja. Kenet is progressing really well, he is reading the bofm every day and he came to church. He is really prepared for this covenant path! Other than that... nada.
This week I humbled myself.
There were a lot of times I didn't want to do the work, no motivation. Remembering that I volunteered to do this was quite experience. It also helped me to recognize, again, that discipline will always be better than motivation. Stay disciplined boys and girls.
